Carrie Underwood’s Husband: ‘We Obviously Want Kids’

Carrie Underwood's husband Mike Fisher is opening up about the couple's lavish nuptials earlier this month and what's next for them as a couple.

Fisher, a professional hockey player for the Ottawa Senators, told the Ottawa Sun that the pair definitely plans to start a family, saying, "We obviously want kids, but that's down the road … Now is not the time, especially with our busy schedules, everything we've got going on. We don't know exactly when, but definitely we will."

As for his first couple of weeks as a married man, Fisher told the paper, "It's awesome…I'm with my best friend and I love her to death. There's nothing better, for sure."
