Gary Coleman’s Will Request: 15-Day Life Support

ET's Kevin Frazier sat down with Gary Coleman’s ex-wife and significant other, Shannon Price, yesterday at her home in Utah for a new interview to air tonight on ET in which she responds to legal documents that say the "Diff'rent Strokes" star wished to be on life support for at least 15 days.

Shannon responds to the just-filed legal papers, signed by the actor in 2006, that reveal Coleman chose to “prolong life” and wished for medical treatment to be stopped if two doctors agree his condition is terminal or if he is in a coma at least fifteen days.

On why she removed Gary from life support just two days after he arrived at the hospital, Shannon says, “This is what the doctors advised me. I did what I could. The doctors advised me that he was not going to make it because his heart was going to give out and [it was] the time to pull it. Gary and I had talked about that and he said, ‘If I am a vegetable, just pull it.’ I tried very hard to make sure that I did everything… for him to have a chance at surviving.”
