Heene Sought Restraining Order Against Man Who Reported Him to DCFS

New documents obtained by ET show that Richard Heene, the father of the so-called "Balloon Boy," was granted a temporary restraining order against a Los Angeles man, in part because Heene claimed the man "eroneously (sic) reported [him] to the the Department of Children and Family Services."

Richard and his wife Mayumi asked for protection from Matt Wineroth for themselves and their three children, Bradford, Ryo and Falcon, back in 2006. They claimed that Wineroth, who they called an "ex-employee," not only reported them to DCFS, but they also alleged that he and his partner Josh Chase had stolen a copy of a database from their production company, My You Me Productions.

In papers, Richard Heene also alleges that Wineroth told him, "I'm going to kick your ass," and that Wineroth "stared at [him] intently as though he was going to do [him] physical harm."
