Kathy Griffin Pulls No Punches in New Memoir

Dark family secrets, plastic surgery, dating fellow celebs -- no personal topic is off limits as actress, reality star and comedian Kathy Griffin opens up to ET about her new memoir, "Official Book Club Selection."

"I knew that I had to go for it," Kathy tells our Mark Steines about her memoir, available Sept. 8. "I really thought there's no point in writing the book if you're going to hold back."

Looking back on her life with her trademark candor, Kathy reflects on growing up under the same roof as a pedophile -- her late, older brother Kenny. "My brother Kenny had an extremely profound impact on me," she says, revealing that when she was a child, he would say "sexually inappropriate" things to her.
