Man Indicted in ‘American Idol’ Contestant’s Death

Daniel Bark has been indicted in the death of Alexis Cohen, who competed on the seventh season of "American Idol."

The indictment charges Bark with aggravated manslaughter, and he remains in jail on $150,000 bail, says the Associated Press.

Prosecutors claim Bark was driving the car that struck and killed 25-year-old Cohen in New Jersey on July 25, 2009, says the AP. At the time, Bark was allegedly trying to make a getaway from police, who attempted to stop him after an earlier car accident, the news agency reports.
