Marilyn Monroe’s Personal Items Go to Auction

A number of personal things from entertainment icon Marilyn Monroe are going up for auction, including items from the estate of her analyst, Dr. Ralph Greenson.

On June 26 and 27 at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Julien’s Auctions will offer items from Monroe's personal and professional life that will include: X-Ray’s of Monroe’s chest from Cedars of Lebanon Hospital from her doctors visit on November 10th, 1954, the chair used by the icon in her final photo shoot, David Conover negatives and copyrights to Monroe photographs, previously unreleased photographs of Monroe on her honeymoon with Joe DiMaggio -- including their visit to see the troops in Korea -- and Marilyn’s personal bottle of Chanel No. 5.

Meanwhile, Dr. Greenson is auctioning off his therapy couch from his Beverly Hills home office where Monroe would lie during their meetings, Pucci clothing gifted to his daughter and handwritten notes between the doctor and Monroe.
