New Documents: Erin Andrews Files Lawsuit Against Hotels & Stalker

ET is first to obtain the court papers in the lawsuit filed by former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Erin Andrews against seven hotels and Michael David Barrett, the man who pleaded guilty to a felony stalking charge last year and was sentenced to a two-and-a-half year prison term. He also pleaded guilty to interstate stalking back in December.

After Barrett was found guilty of secretly videotaping Andrews in the nude at various hotels and then posting the video on the Internet, Andrews is seeking to hold the hotels responsible as they allegedly revealed her room number and allowed Barrett to check in to adjoining rooms without her knowledge.

According to the court papers, the ESPN reporter "suffered and continues to suffer from, including but limited to, severe and permanent emotional distress, embarrassment, past and future medical expenses, and a loss of earning capacity."
