Sean Penn Pleads No Contest to Vandalism Charge

A judge has ordered Sean Penn -- who was videotaped kicking a photographer last year -- to undergo anger-management counseling as part of his sentence for pleading no contest to a vandalism charge in the case.

Penn was also sentenced to three years of informal probation and 300 hours of community service, Los Angeles city attorney's spokesman Frank Mateljan told the Associated Press on Wednesday.

The Oscar winner can complete his community service hours through his Haiti earthquake relief efforts, Mateljan says.
