Secrecy Ends as Bill Clinton Goes Public in Chelsea’s Wedding Town

After weeks of intense media speculation -- but no official confirmation from Bill and Hillary Clinton -- about the wedding of their daughter Chelsea, the former president finally emerged on the streets of the quaint New York town where the event will reportedly take place this weekend.

Bill Clinton was escorted by security as he was surrounded by photographers and onlookers Friday around noon when he casually strolled through Rhinebeck, New York in blue jeans and a black polo shirt. He also shook hands and spoke with some of the locals.

Clinton did not speak formally or make announcements, but he did give some quick answers to reporters. When asked about his future son-in-law Marc Mezvinsky, the former president told "The Insider"'s Jill Martin: "I like him and I admire him. He's a wonderful man. I feel very blessed." Martin is also a contributor to US Magazine.
