‘Ugly Betty”s Becki Newton Takes a Desk Job!

Becki Newton plays Mode magazine's tart-tongued receptionist Amanda on "Ugly Betty," and now she's dishing to ET about assisting Self magazine's Editor-in-Chief Lucy Danziger for a day.

"I have to say I really enjoy it," Becki tells ET's Kevin Frazier about being Lucy's very temporary assistant. "I mastered the phones. I haven't spilled any nail polish on the desk. I've gotten to try out a couple of different hair sprays. So overall, a very sucessful day."

That's what the actress tells Kevin over the phone -- before she unceremoniously hangs up on him, proving she's full of secretarial hijinks!
