Document: FHP Suspected Tiger Woods of Driving Under the Influence

ET has obtained a subpoena request filed by the Florida Highway Patrol related to Tiger Woods' November 27 accident. Read on for more.

The Florida Highway Patrol's subpoena request was ultimately denied, but the document reveals that FHP authorities suspected that Woods may have driven while under the influence. The agency therefore wanted "medical blood results."

In the document, the FHP claims in part, "A witness stated that the driver had consumed alcohol earlier in the day," and that the same witness "stated that the driver was prescribed medication (Ambien and [Vicodin])."  The Florida Highway Patrol tells ET that, according to earlier reports, the witness who was on the scene of the accident and who pulled Woods out of his car was his wife, Elin Nordegren.
