John Travolta’s Employee Testifies in Extortion Case

A security specialist for John Travolta testified Monday in the Bahamas and supported the claim that the star was asked to pay $25 million as part of an alleged extortion plot. Read on for details…

The Associated Press reports that Travolta's employee, Ronald Zupancic, testified that a paramedic who treated Travolta's late son Jett threatened to go to the media with private information unless the star paid him millions. Zupancic also testified that he was the one who told Travolta of ambulance driver Tarino Lightbourne's demand.

Zupancic also testified that Lightbourne contacted Travolta's attorneys through his attorney, former Bahamas Sen. Pleasant Bridgewater, the AP reports. Bridgewater is the other defendant in the case.
