Suze Orman Recovering from Emergency Surgery

CNBC personal-finance expert Suze Orman, who's also a contributor to Oprah Winfrey's TV show and O magazine, is recuperating from an emergency appendectomy.

Orman's spokesperson tells the Chicago Sun-Times that the TV host had her appendix removed last weekend while in Chicago and was released from the hospital on Tuesday.

She's recovering at a hotel in the city before returning home to Florida, her spokesperson adds.
