Amid controversy over their Aboriginal-themed ensembles at the 2010 European Figure Skating Championships on Jan. 21, 2010, Russian ice dancers Oksana Domnina and Maxim Shabalin made a number of changes to their costumes for the original dance portion of their program for the Vancouver Winter Olympics. For the Olympics performance, Oksana changed the design on the back of her costume; while Maxim wore a lighter-toned brown body suit, and both removed the white facial paint.
